Board of Health Meeting

Having a quorum, Mr. Amado called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
Present: Chairman Amado, Mr. Edgehille, Ms. Tramontana & Ms. Cocio
REVIEW OF AGENDA
Read and sign all mail, permits, warrants and expense vouchers.
NEW BUSINESS
- The next Board of Health meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at 6:30pm.
- Transfer Station Hours – Tabled for full Board
- Septic Plans before the Board for review and approval.
536 Main Street – Deed Restriction – 3 Bedroom - Mr. Edgehille made a motion to approve the following variances 2nd by Mr. Amado. Unanimous 2-0
- Allow the use of a sieve analysis instead of perc test to determine L.T.A.
- Allow the SAS to be 11’ from a cellar wall instead of 20’ required.
- Allow the SAS to be 6” from property line instead of 10’ required.
- Allow SAS to be less than 10” from a water line.
- 178 Forest Trail – Deed Restriction – 5 Bedroom - Mr. Edgehille made a motion to approve the following variances 2nd by Mr. Amado. Unanimous 2-0
- Reduction in the separation between the bottom of the SAS and the maximum seasonal high water table from 4’ – 3’
- Allow the use of a sieve analysis instead of perc test due to high water.
- 87 Puritan Drive - Deed Restriction – 5 Bedroom - Mr. Edgehille made a motion to approve the following variances 2nd by Mr. Amado. Unanimous 2-0
- Reduction in the separation between the bottom of the SAS and the maximum seasonal high water table from 4’ – 3’
- Allow the use of a sieve analysis instead of perc test due to high water.
- Allow for a reduction of the required 12” separation between the inlet and the outlet tees and high groundwater.
- Health Agent Report – Health Agent is continuing to work on the Emergency Plan and setting up EDS site information with the Towns emergency planner.

- Tobacco Regulations – Tabled
- Any business that has come in since this agenda was posted
- Update from staff on any business since the last Board of Health meeting
